The Al Ain National Museum was founded by the late Sheikh Zayed to protect archaeological discoveries in Abu Dhabi. The museum consists of two main sections. These are the Ethnographic section, which looks at the life of people in the pre-oil area, and the Archaeological section, which exhibits artefacts from the different ages in chronological order, starting from the Stone Age through to the Islamic Ages.

Al Ain International Airport is Abu Dhabi’s second international airport and is located just over 16 miles from the city centre. The journey to the airport is relatively quick at around 30 minutes or a little less by car.

Two notable such zones are Al Ain Industrial City, which is located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai cities, and Nibras Al Ain Aerospace Park, which is devoted to service providers and manufacturers that operate in the aerospace industry.
